Supporting the truth, even when it is unpopular, shows the capacity for honesty and integrity.
Luke 23:50
There was a man by the name of Joseph, a member of the Jewish High Council, a man of good heart and good character.
In life, you may encounter different situations that would test your character, rather than fall into the trap of soiling your character, train yourself to always do the right thing. It doesn't matter if people don't reward you for keeping up a good character. Don't expect anyone to do so, for nobody needs to reward you for your character. God Himself will reward your good character, and when He does, He will do it in a big way.
Keep a firm grasp on both your character and your teaching. Don't be diverted. Just keep at it. Both you and those who hear you will experience salvation. I Timothy 4:16
